Down East Republican Club
Hosts Bob Crumley

Last night Bob Crumley, leading contender for Attorney General of North Carolina, was the keynote speaker at the Down East Republican Club in Washington North Carolina. Bob is well respected and has already garnered an impressive list of endorsements from leading Republicans and Conservatives in our state.

Bob spoke about the importance of the Attorney General to returning integrity to our current rampantly corrupt political system. Check out his web site for details of his campaign - http://www.bobcrumley.com/

After Bob spoke, there was an excellent presentation by Buzz Cayton about the coming Free Movie, "A More Perfect Union" on September 18th, 2007 - 7:00 PM at Mount Olive College in Washington, NC.

This movie is in support of the "Miracle of America" course to be taught at Mount Olive College, which will start September 25, 2007 and continue for 5 Tuesdays. It is a study on the U.S. Constitution and the founding fathers, taught through video presentation by Cleon Skousen.

Both presentations were, as usual, excellent and covered material that is important to the Down East Republican Club members. Don't miss next months meeting!

Easley Supports New County Taxes

There is an article posted on the Inner Banks Eagle about the attempt by North Carolina to raise your County taxes. It is politics so we posted the article in on the "Eagle". However some have asked me to make people who read the Patriot blogs aware of the article since it will affect so many middle class people who don't know they may have the value of their homes seized by government. Click on the title above to see what is being proposed.
