Brigadoon Auditions

The Martin Community Players announce auditions for their Winter Musical. This Winter they are producing the fantasy-romance-musical play, "Brigadoon" by Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe. The play was originally produced on Boradway in 1947. It was made into a movie in 1954 starring Gene Kelly as Tommy Albright, Van Johnson as Jeff Douglas and Cyd Charisse as Fiona Campbell.

The Martin Community Players production will be presented March 16th, 17th & 18th.

The plot: Two Americans on a hunting trip in Scotland become lost. They encounter a small village, not on the map, called Brigadoon, in which people harbor a mysterious secret, and behave as if they were still living two hundred years in the past.

Cast Needed is 50+ Members – Men, Women, & Children – All Ages

Auditions will be held at the Martin County Auditorium from 7:30 – 9:00 PM :
